Went to the world premiere of Freddy vs. Jason at Camp Hackenslash, a summer camp event put on by the Alamo Drafthouse. That was pretty fun.

So, the "bad" derby finally got themselves together enough to put on a bout, so we checked it out. Oh, my god. It sucked so much. I want my four hours back. I'll stick with the real roller derby.

Huff and Christine took a road trip down here and stayed for a week or so. We ate way too much. Bonus: more crappy not-bat pictures.

More derby pictures. I tried to focus mainly on well lit, not moving things, to minimize the sucking. How well it worked, we'll see. (After looking at photos: nope, I still suck.)
