Bernie and I went for a little walk down to Land's End, in the far northeast of the city. It's quite a hike down to the water and back up, but it's super nice.
Bernie had a gig down in Santa Cruz, so I went by myself to Eric's book signing for his re-release of Fetish Girls, down at Stormy Leather. Had a nice, long, cold walk home, because my bike is in the shop. Wah.
We saw the Spider-Man movie. It was pretty good. Not super great, but I'm sure glad they made it. Plus, giant inflatable spidey.
I just discovered there was a Surrealism and Data exhibit at the Legion of Honor. It closes on Sunday, so I took the day off today (Friday) to try to catch it when it wasn't so crowded. It was still crowded. Plus, they do not permit photography in special collections, and they don't like my type getting too close to the Art. My memory is bad, pictures are how I remember things - I was disappointed. The exibit was okay, though, and I explored the rest of the museum as well...
Phil's sister Grace came into town from NYC to help Phil paint and clean and unpack and generally get his new apartment into shape. These are a few pictures from the little painting party over there.
It was a nice day, and neither Bernie nor I had to work, sowe decided to pop over to the San Francisco Zoo. It's being renovated and rebuilt, and it was closing in a few hours, so I decided to buy myself a membership - it's not too expensive, and now we can go anytime we want to, for free! I can't wait to see the new stuff they're building...
