If you google for "twenty microwave rfid", you'll find a bunch of hooey about how the government has put tags in your money to track you for some reason, and they discovered this by putting a thousand bucks in the microwave to make them explode. Dumbasses. Here's my experiment, which cost significantly less. (Full report here.)

I had the good fortune to be invited out to Richard Garriott's place for a big party, in honor of the passing of Origin Systems. It was a hoot. Unfortunately, very few pictures came out, partly because the camera sucks, and partly because I suck. But hey, give it a shot. (I stand by my policy of posting every picture, no matter how terrible. Even really, really, completely useless terrible ones. Like a lot of these.)

We made some of this chili. Holy moly, was it tasty.
